Land Acknowledgement

The Manitoba Jockey Club acknowledges that we are on Treaty 1 territory and that the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Anisininew, Dakota, Lakota, and Dene People, and the National Homeland of the Red River Metis. We pay our respects to the First Nations and Metis ancestors of this land.
